Camper of the Week

Megan's teacher spotlights each child throughout the school year and this week was Megan's turn to be camper of the week. Each day of the week there were different things that spotlighted Megan. She took pictures and some home videos to share with the class one day. A special treat another day. One day the students gave her compliments, and another they asked her questions. Thursday was the day that we were supposed to send a letter, poem, or something similar to her teacher about Megan. Clay wrote the following poem for her teacher to read to the class! I think he did an excellent job capturing our Megan!

Megan Renae Ward, born October 17th, 2005

She had beautiful dark hair and big brown eyes

Her parents were amazed by her advances and cheer

She even wowed the Koreans when she hit one year

She loves to be active, playing and running free

With friends, cousins, the farm, she'd prefer to be

Athletic, tall, smart, courteous and clean

She can play the piano and ride horses like a queen

When it comes to food, she'll take steak and crab

Don't forget about dessert, she'll eat every brownie you have

So, watch out world, Megan can even shoot guns

But if you aren't careful, her friend you'll become
