B-17

Sometimes we like to go yard saling. Some days we find lots of great deals. Other times we find nothing. This one particular Saturday we didn't find much, other than this B-17!

Apparently there is a local WWII veteran that flew on this airplane to celebrate his birthday. It did a flyover at the Caldwell night rodeo on Friday night of the event. It was neat to see it up close. You could go for a flight for a cool $400+ dollars. Unfortunately we didn't have that much extra cash, so we opted to just watch someone else take off on their fun flight! The boys thought it was neat. Bonus, we also saw several parachuters while waiting for the B-17 to take off! James assured me he only wants to fly on a plane not jump out of it!
