These first group of pictures are from the 4th of July boating excursion. My family has been going boating for the 4th of July for a long time. As more and more grandkids arrive it gets more and more tricky to accomplish fulfilling everyones water desires completely! Luckily, the baby of the family is smarter than the rest of us more seasoned mother's and brought this lovely storage tote for her adorable little one to cool off in. She is about 8 months younger than Cambree, but about as mobile as Cambree, just not quite as onry! Anyhow, the first picture is what the tote was intended for-cooling off. However, with age comes more wisdom. Trey decided using the tote for a climbing tool was much more effective than having water pooling with all the mosquitoes swarming. The tote had to be re-filled so other little people could enjoy cooling off! What a fantastic idea, if I can remember all the way to the next 4th of July, maybe I will step it up and even bring a kiddy pool-or at least a slightly bigger tote!
Cambree refuses to have anything in her hair. However, if she wants to put several headbands on her head by herself, then it's cool! She is a character!
Blurry picture, but this girl loves to pretend to talk on the phone. "Hewo!" she says it over an over.
Our attempted selfy at the Patriot tour!
Trey getting ready to can peaches!
Cambree insisted on having an apron to can peaches. Of course, the much larger older brother refused to let her wear the apron that would fit her-so this is what she ended up with. She didn't mind too much.
Our new canvas tent from Elk Mountain tents. Cousin Eyan came and helped daddy put it up. It has a port for a wood burning stove too. Kids have enjoyed playing in it!
